Registration, cancellation and refund policy

Please note that all students are required to pay an annual membership fee of $20 as indicated in our "Registration, cancellation and refund policy" section below. 

We will contact you immediately upon reception of your application form to finalize your registration.

Promotions :

• Families: annual subscription fees reduced to $25 per family and 5%discount on additional courses fees during a same session (from the second family member).
• Multiple registrations: 5% discount on the additional courses fees if you register for more than one course during the same session.
• Registration renewal: 5% discount on the courses fees if you register again for the same course the next session during the year covered by your membership fees.
• Those promotions can not be cumulated.

Registration, cancellation and refund policy:

• Registrations are accepted at any time during the year with respect to the vacancy in the chosen course. The fees are then calculated according to the number of courses remaining in the session.
• Students are encouraged to register early, the decision of opening or not a course or a workshop being taken at the latest five days prior to start of the course or the workshop. Later registration could result in a course or workshop cancellation due to low enrolment, or the course or workshop may already be complete.
• The tuition fees must be paid in full before the courses or the workshop commence. Taxes are not included in the announced prices and are applicable.
• All students are required to pay an annual membership fee to La Salamandre Art Center if they wish to register for courses or workshops. The membership fee is valid for one year starting on the date they first register. The fees are as follows: These are of $20 per student and $25 per family, and are non refundable. These membership fees are not applicable to day camps.
• Students who wish to cancel, withdraw, or request a refund for a course must advise La Salamandre Art Center in writing. If this written refund request is received prior to the first course of the session, the student will receive a full refund of course fees, less $20 for administration fees. If this written refund request is received after the first course of the session, the student will receive a full refund of the course fees, less the value of the first course and less $20 for administration fees. No refund will be made after the second class.
• Students who wish to cancel, withdraw or request a refund for a workshop must advise La Salamandre Art Center in writing at least 3 days before the beginning of the workshop. The student will receive a full refund of the workshop fees less $20 for administration fees. No refund will be made after this time.
• Students who wish to cancel a private course must advise La Salamandre Art Center the day before, before 6 PM. The course will then be rescheduled.  No refund will be made after this time.
• For any cancellation of birthday or party event, La salamander Art Center must be advised 5 days before. Expenses already made for this event, increased by 50$ will be paid to La Salamandre Art Center.  No refund of the deposit (minimum of $150) will be made after this deadline.
• For any cancellation of a day camp, la Salamandre Art Center must be advised 15 days before the first day of the camp. An administration fee of 50$ will be paid to the Art Center. No refund will be made after this deadline.
• La Salamandre Art Center has the right to cancel a course or a workshop. In this case, the students will receive a full refund of their payment.
