Sculpture Course - Molding - Autumn 2010

  • Objective: This sculpture course is designed to introduce you to molding, to the fundamentals and various notions relating thereto, as well as different tools and materials. The choice of the mould will be based on needs. You will learn to master the lost mold, the part mold, and the mold in latex, in different formats.
  • Medium used: resin, silicone, latex, plaster, clay
  • Requirement: sculpture course accessible to all levels. Personalized attention given to each student.
  • Schedule : from September 22 to December 8, 2010 (12 classes)
  • Hours: On Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Location of the course: 2025 Parthenais street in Montreal
  • Provided material: clay, resin, silicone, latex, plaster, jute cloth, barbotine, soap, spatulas.
  • Price: $240 and 50$ for the material, hence $290 in total.

Sculpture Course - Modeling Course – Autumn 2010

  • Objective: In this sculpture course you will acquire the basics of modeling the human form. First, you will concentrate your creation on masks and bas-relief, then on sitting and standing postures, to finally conclude by creating freely your own sculpture according to a theme that will be proposed or following a musical inspiration. You will discover the properties of clay, learn to analyze volumes and to master the tri-dimensions of the human figure.
  • Medium: clay
  • Requirement: sculpture course accessible to all levels. Personalized attention given to each student.
  • Schedule : from September 21 to December 7, 2010 (12 classes)
  • Hours: On Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Location of the course: 2025 Parthenais street in Montreal
  • Provided material: one box of clay, stands, sculpture tools, sponge, plastic bag, cleaning clothes, wire, oven for cooking, projections of works by artists to stimulate and inspire students.
  • Price: $340 and 60$ for the material, hence $400 in total.
  • Schedule: Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
