Painting course- Texture of reality - faux fini on furniture and creation of a fake decorative fossil - Autumn 2010
- Objectives: Learn to reproduce rock textures, including marble, agate, granit, etc., wood finish such as mahogany and effects of abstract and impressionist pattern of flowers, vines, plants and leafs to apply on an old piece of furniture to enhance and rejuvinate it. Recreate the realist 3d effects of a fossil, through an organic rocky surface, using the knowledge of the 1st aspect of rocky textures in plaster poured in a mould of sand shaped like a fossil. The starting point to realize all the fossils will be images taken from books
- Requirement: Painting course accessible to all.
- Days: from September 28 to December 14 (12 sessions).

- Materials included in the price: brushes and sponges, glaze, paint brushes, pigments tempera, varnish, plaster, water base epoxy to cover 400 square feet (providing a minimum of 10 registered students), papers, chunk of MDF, masonite and cardboard to practice, latex paint (2 litres per student).
- Price :$290 and $60 for the material, hence $350 material included.

Painting Course : Acrylics - Forms and Function 1 - Autumn 2010
- Objectives: This acrylic painting course provides you with the tools to acquire and/or improve your skills in painting through comprehensive studies in the fundamentals of painting: the various progressive techniques and effects from the opaque to transparent technique and explorations in texture/mixed media. Learn the essentials of painting through studies in the human form, and still nature while learning techniques used in traditional and contemporary painting.
- Materials: Students will be introduced to a wide range of acrylic materials and mixed media.
- Subjects: The human figure, still nature.
- Requirement: Painting class open to all levels, however skills in drawing are an asset.

Painting in Acrylic Course - Autumn 2010
- Objective: this painting course is designed to acquire technical knowledge and to develop creativity. Participating students will be motivated to dare personal interpretations in the pictorial organization as well as in techniques used.
- Mediums: acrylic paint.
- Subjects : still life, portrait, landscape.
- Requirement : The students registering in this painting course must have basic knowledge in drawing. Each student is followed individually according to its level.
- Schedule: from September 29 to December 15, 2010 (12 weeks)
