La Salamandre Art Center offers you drawing courses that will allow you to master various techniques and a great range of materials.
We offer individual courses, small group courses, or regular courses as described below.

Drawing Course: Exploring Form 1 - Autumn 2010
- Objectives: This drawing course provides you with the tools to acquire and/or improve your skills through studies in the fundamentals of observational drawing: composition, proportion, and light through techniques in various drawing mediums. Learn to draw through the essentials and begin to develop your own style and confidence for your continued explorations.
- Mediums: Students will use a variety of mediums from Charcoal, pencil, ink... and begin to explore texture with mixed media.
- Subjects: Still nature, landscape, the human figure
- Requirement: Drawing course accessible to all levels
- Language of the course: English
- Schedule: Mondays from 5:30 to 8:30 pm from September 20 to December 13 (no course on October 11)
- Location of the course: 48 Notre Dame west in Montreal

Drawing Course - Autumn 2010
- Objective: This drawing course allows you to acquire or/and develop the concepts of space, chiaroscuro, line, shape, value, depth, rhythm, composition, perspective, and much more, in drawing and in its application with dry pastel.
- Mediums: charcoal, black pencil, Indian ink, sanguine, dry pastel, pencil and colour pen.
- Subjects: still life, portrait, human figure
- Requirement: drawing course accessible to all students, whether you are a beginner or you want to improve. Each student is followed individually according to its level.
- Schedule : from September 20 to December 13, 2010 (October 11 is a holiday) for 12 weeks
- Location of the courses: 305 Bellechasse street in Montreal
- Price : $320, material not included (you will receive a list of needed materials when you register)
- Schedule: Monday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
