A summer highly colorful...

Two courses for adults are offered this summer.

A first course, addressed to artists from all horizons, whether they draw, paint, use pastels or watercolor, ... who wish to master the different aspects of the perspective and challenge the canvas with a third dimension. The intuitive and linear perspective course is an introduction to the natural perspective techniques, such as the atmospheric perspective, overlap, and details and edges, as well as the techniques resulting from a geometric construction, as is the linear perspective. It is offered on Tuesday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm from June 28th to July 26th.

A second course focuses on the color, fluidity of the material, the shadow and light, the atmosphere, the composition,... and simply techniques and processes of watercolour. It is proposed on Monday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm from June 27th to July 25th.

Children and teenagers are not forgotten! The La Salamandre Art Center invites them to a journey and to fantasy, to meet great artists of the past, in a series of courses combining techniques and art history. A different program each week combining drawing, painting and mixed techniques leads them to the discovery of history of Collage (Dada, Cubism, Pop Art ...), Graphic Arts (Bauhaus, Dada, Art Nouveau...), Colour in painting (Delaunay, Kandinsky, Mondrian...), or Cubism and African masks. The courses are offered each week from June 27th to August 5th.

Our pleasures for this June

Crazy about fashion, passionately in love with Jean-Paul Gaultier, the Salamandre can not prevent herself from warning you to not miss the first and highly expected retrospective devoted to the couturier who turned upside down the universe of fashion by his boldness, his curiosity, his imagination, his energy and his vision. "The fashion world of Jean-Paul Gaultier - From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk" is presented from June 17th to October 2nd at the Museum of fine arts of Montreal, on Sherbrooke Street.

He likes the city, he loves people. He loves this spectacle of nature that reflects in the buildings of the city, and he also loves the night revelation that these buildings hide ... "Entre chien et loup "... Jean chaîney reveals himself at Zephyr from June 13th to July 3rd. You're expected at the opening on June 17th at 5pm. Zephyr - Art space, 2112 Amherst.

It is in the very scenic loft of the former plant of Cadbury of ParkerBoro Lab that the photographer Christina Alonso decided to present her latest exhibition entitled "Émouvances" until June 30th. These very inspired photos are the result of a combined movement, body, and light energy. Imagination, abstraction, freedom... at the 5425 rue de Bordeaux, studio 401.
